High unemployment rates, increasingly precarious jobs and industry restructuring are just some of the elements characterising today's labour markets. A network of EU-funded researchers is studying socio-economic and social trends to better understand current developments.

The project began in December 2012, and today there are 12 early stage researchers based across nine European partners. Four network schools have taken place in Gothenburg, Paris, Leuven and Wroclaw. All the Marie Curie Fellows have been extremely busy, taking part in many dissemination and knowledge exchange activities. The first project report – Changing Employment in Europe – outlines the progress and projected trends for the initial findings of Early Stage Researchers by Theme, and from the first stages of doctoral research and network activity. more
