Faculty of Science: School of Pharmacy - PP3

The School of Pharmacy at SU re-engineered the Pharmacy Practice 3 (PP3) class to increase the level of attainment by increasing the opportunities for students to rehearse and receive feedback on professional practice skills. The class redesign involved the development of a bespoke online virtual tutor which allowed students to engage in regular self-testing with immediate feedback. Learning was reinforced by linking face-to-face activities with those online. During the two years of REAP pass rates at the first attempt have increased from 68% to 87%.
